We have never given eyebrows as much importance as we do in recent years, we have finally realized that they are the Framework of our Face.
The care of them is primordial and I believe that almost all of us have made a mistake when waxing during all these years of our lives, I raise my hand.
When I was 15 years old, I took those tweezers that my mother always had on top of the bathroom cabinet, I closed that door and started to wax without making any sense, you can imagine the result... my mother's face said it all!
Well, even in these times, there are people who make mistakes when it comes to waxing their eyebrows.
First mistake: Waxing in hairdressing centers.
Let's face it, you go to the hairdresser to cut your hair and fix your hair, but how many times have we gone and the hairdresser has told you: "shall I pluck your eyebrows?", and your thinking, and why not, since I'm here. Why not? At the moment when the hairdresser takes her wax, she places it on your eyebrows and flush, flush... finished, hello? Excuse me? No, please never again. Well yes sir, that's right gentlemen, we are still doing it. Let's be sensible, hairdressers have studied to take care of the hair on your head and an eyebrow specialist has been trained to take care of the hair on your eyebrows.
Second mistake: Not using the right color to make up your eyebrows.
Many of you have thought about applying makeup to your eyebrows and sometimes, when we go to the store to buy eyebrow makeup, we usually make the mistake of buying a very dark color or buying an orange-brown color. Who has orange brown eyebrows? In all the years that I have been in the profession, I have never seen a brown eyebrow hair, they are usually light brown, dark brown or black. So when buying a color product for eyebrows, the ideal would be for dark hair, a grayish or chocolate brown color, for light eyebrows, a light brown color, but never orange brown.
Third mistake: Using eyebrow stencils.
Eyebrows are like our fingerprints, they are unique, so stencils are not the best option to take them as a model for waxing or makeup, since they usually do not adapt to your natural eyebrow, it is preferable to remove a little, until we can make our appointment with our eyebrow specialist, before using an eyebrow stencil.
Fourth mistake: Trying to leave the eyebrows identical and symmetrical.
One of my phrases that I tell my clients to make them understand that the eyebrows "are not twins", that "the eyebrows are sisters" and there is always the beautiful one in the family and the other is usually the weird one or the nice one. Well, the same thing happens with eyebrows, there is always one that we like more than the other, but we have to accept that we are not symmetrical, normally we tend to have one eyebrow higher than the other, a swirl in one eyebrow and not in the other, etc. …. let it have a little difference, that will make them unique.
Fifth mistake: Eliminate the swirl.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the swirl DOES NOT REMOVE, it is the essence of our eyebrow, that is the reason why it is very important to attend a specialist eyebrow center, where they know how to work with that incredible swirl that makes them unique. either by cutting them, redirecting them with special treatments, etc…
